really dumb question from a hl nub

Hey guys,

i'm new to halflife.. but i played cs b4.

I'm stuck on the FIRST LEVEL. i know.. don't laugh. I'm at the front plaza, where the guy keeps talking about instinct and suppressing the desire to reproduce. I can't get in any of the doors. what do I do??

As you exit the train station, take a right and climb the ladder near the garbage container. GL!
