Redone HL? opening test-chamber

Wow, I just saw a game trailer from...gamtrailers.com about the xbox port of HL2 and I noticed that the xbox' opening scene featured a, holy smoke, redone version of the old test chamber...And I was wondering, has it been updated for pc as well?? T'would be totally awesome.

How pathetic. Why would we want a re done version of the test chamber, when it's already been done and dusted and only features in HL2 for literally 10 seconds. It's like going back in time and altering the past. Fair enough, I'd accept it for a new platform, but for the PC, there is no point.

no now i get it. the very begging of hl2 where g man brings you back from stasis ,you see a little snippet from the test chamber in black mesa from hl1.

Ok here is what W4d5Y was trying to say,

He said that he was watching trailers for Half-life 2 on the Xbox and in one of the trailers it showed the intro to the game. But this time on the xbox version the part that showed the old test chamber from Half-life 1 was done it HL2 Graphics instead of HL1 graphics like in the PC version.

I'm pretty sure thats what he was saying.

How did you guys start talking about flash backs and redoing the Half-life 1 test chamber?

The HL1 test chamber was always redone in HL2, despite only appearing for ten or so seconds. It's hard to spot, I know, but it is a high-res version of the original.

The test chamber in HL2 is the same as in HL:S which doesn't have any new textures. I could be wrong but I know the computer monitor is the same in HL2, HL:S and HL. You can go noclip and see for yourself.
