Hey fans, have you an idea of giving some references to HL1 and HL2 that makes the gameplay and storyline immersive, and both games to score big and eventually become popular among gamers?

I don't know what you mean, but this last bit is already true...so...what?

Have you played both HL1 and HL2? And what about those refrences to HL1 and HL2?

I'd say about 99% of people here have played both games.

You want to know references from people in HL2 about HL1? Ok so i assume you dont own the game (you should)

Well if you mean that, Eli/Kliener etc all talk about the black mesa incident, and you meet the administrator from HL1. And Gman comes back into the story, and reminds you of whats happened (right at the start) and whats needed of you. So they tie together pretty well. Hope thats what you meant.
p.s. buy it!

I'll assume you mean cross-references; each game referencing events that happen in the other.

So, in Half-Life 2:

- You find out the Administrator of Black Mesa wasn't really the G-Man, as most people thought. It was actually Dr. Breen.
- The Vortigaunts have been freed ( \o/ ) and are actually quite nice.
- Eli's hideout is Black Mesa East. It's like the new Black Mesa facility, only in Eastern Europe.
- The first weapon you get is, again, the Crowbar.
- There's a train ride in HL2, just as there is in HL1, though I wish it were longer.

Hope that's what you wanted. And no, that's not the extent of the HL1 references in HL2.
