Reinstall HL2 question.

What if i reinstall HL2? Does that mean i automatically get HL DM installed when logging in to STEAM ?
I do NOT Want it...cos after the DM i get the mem errror.
I have finished the game ...no problems . but now its impossible to play HL2...and Yes..i HAVE tried all the tweaks and what not...

Have you actually tried patiently waiting for EVERYTHING in your steam menu to update? That cured it for me...

Everything IS updated....and as i said...HL DM works,Svencoop works,tfc works...But now HL2 Does NOT ..and ive played the game since Day One !
