i got a laptop, and it has the graphics card geforce go 7300, and while i am able to reach 1280x whatever resolution in desktop, i am unable to go past 1024x whatever in games. I attemped to find drivers, but it seems some company has disabled the ability to download drivers for their laptop using that specific graphics card. Is there a way to bypass the limit?

try using omega drivers.

I used to get the same thing with my laptop. ATI must have fixed it in a recent update because I don't have that problem any more.
