Run Power?

Hey, if you are watching the 24 min long new vid from E³ 2004, try go to about 15 min. It is were gordon is at the dryed up lake.

At some point the player is runnig, and a "run-o-meter" is displayed. Apparently he is not "always-run" built.... Valve made not possible to run through the game, we have to see all the cool graphics...

its power assist from your suit ,, it uses battery power to enable you to 'run faster',, but apart from running faster, you can run normally, or walk.. whichever, but you dont use your suit power assist to do walking or normal running.. etc etc

well you can sort of figure it out , as the suit assisted you with that jump module thing in HL1, plus ive seen it working on the Beta

But you can run/walk at every time you want? Or not?

yeh your in control you can run or walk whenever you want. but you need your suit to do power assist running.

I suppose its just like Sprint in DoD or something like that.
