is it possible to transfer your hl2 save game to another machine? i need to format and i dont want to lose my game progress.

yes, i did it when i started on my new PC, i was 1/2 way throught level 3, it is easy, look in your hl2 directory and find saves, and copy the save file and corresponding picture, then when you start playing hl2 on the pc again, open hl2, then close it, then put the saves in the same place
