Please asplain?

Looks great, but I'm not quite sure how it works.

Info is in the readme, but just for you

Each character needs his or her own directory under c:/documents and settings/username/my documents/my game/oblivion/saves/

For example look at the added screenshot. Due note the actual .ess files do not matter our program doesn't alter them in anyway.

It doesn't seem to work.
My Oblivion install location is on my D:\ Drive (Games), and my saves are on my C:\ drive.

Error:
Run-time error '-2147221231 (80040111)':

automation error
ClassFactory cannot supply requested class

Right now I can only attribute that error to you not having the latest Visual Basic Runtimes.

Hmmm. Have you got a link to them? I'm pretty sure I have them though because I run other VB programs.

This is very useful, thanks for the ref Kyo! I just got sick of sorting out who the hell each save was!

You should be able to find them pretty easily by searching google, or searching the Microsoft website - i think :)

Tip* Type the name of the dll you are missing into the search bars

Which DLL would that be? :P

When you run the program it should tell you that something is missing right? If I am missing a file that it needs in order to run, it says so.

Write down the exact file names of any missing files and search them on the web.

If this is not the right fix for your problem then I'm sorry. This whole fix was assuming you were missing some dll's.

I'm sorry, I thought the VB things Kyo was talking about are dll's.

It's been 10 years and 10,000 bong hits since I used VB, I don't know what the hell is going on tbh. LOL.

I really don't get it.

What's the point of this?

A save manager. Sure you can have all your saves in one big confusing list - that may work for you.

Imagine you share you computer with someone else and they just happened to overwrite your saves. That's just what this is meant to stop, that and making character managment a snap.

I still can't believe Beth left out such a simple thing as Profiles.

Sorry Kyo mate, but I just installed that Vb 6.0 and it's still giving me the error.

My Oblivion install is:
d:\Games\Bethesda Softworks\Oblivion
That's also where I put the save-manager

My Saves are in:
C:\Documents and Settings\Derek\My Documents\My Games\Oblivion\Saves
I also put a copy of the manager there to see if it'd work, and it doesn't.

yaaaay, i was using your first version, now with a save preview, difficulty setting and launch button, this tool ****ing owns. :D good work guys.

Very odd indeed.
