Show selected only in hammer?

Seems like a silly question, but i've have problems finding the solution for this one. I can use the vis groups to hide stuff and make groups of things I would like to hide, but is there any simple way to select only a few objects and view only those objects like there is in unreal (the show selected objects only button)? or do I have to select the whole map, un-selecting what you want and making a group for the rest and hiding that each time?
