hi guys,

The black screen you get when you have a fade to black has a line of pixels around the screen that stay visible. The fade doesn't cover the entire screen. Where are the coordinates that specify the size of the black screen ? thanks in advance ! D:

Not many people read the general editing forums. And anyway, I don't think this should be in this forum.
Also, Does it impact game performance? If not, Then don't worry about it.

Its not about game performance, it just looks crap. And why should I worry about game performence if im talking about a fade effect ? Im just wondering if i could rescale the fade effect to a size that it doesnt show any pixels around it.
So do someone know where the document is that specifies the size ?

edit: maybe it matters if the resolution is on 1280 x 1024 ?

Hm, that might be abit too high. Scale it down.. try 1024 x 768. That's how my desktop is. :)

 i just want to know where the text file is that specifies the size of the fade effect. i don't want to try a different resolution or worry about game performance. i just think i once saw some text that had the dimension of a screen size that specified the size of the fade effect in half-life 2 and now i cant find it. ;(
