Smooth nice looking "show-case" with white backround etc- how to??

When people show off their models, they show them with shadows and white backround, and the models are so smooooth and high ress, and this grey textures on them(if not skinned)


I have XSI and i wonder how to make a scene like that for my models!?!?!

ok u need to create a grid and rotate it so that the white side is like behind you object. now scale it so that it is the big. now click on where it says either shaded or textured etc. and go to display options. and enable specular. you should already have enabled head lights. now do create primative sphere. in the object propeties for the sphere scale up to the maxmium so that your object is inside the sphere. you might need to press x and scale it even more. now press "3" to go to render mode. click region and region tool. or you can press q. draw a box around your object. now you will see it render you object but it looks really crap dont it. so move your cursor over the rectangle in the top right side of the box and click on the slider. move it to the top. now its in good quality. you can now go to options under region. click final gathering and enable final gathering.now its all white n stuff. you can change the settings and play around wit the different tools but that is the jist of it. i think when you use the sphere thing your suposed to apply phong or lambhert matterials to the sphere and object but it doesnt seem to make any difference for me so i just do it like that.

it was a bit of a joke lol ...coz all he did was create a thread with
"hey how do i render my models k thx bye" like its the easiest thing in the world lol.
there are hundreds if not thousands of tutorials on the internet about exactly this.

oh right i see lol. i dont know much about this as i just stick final gathering on and it looks sexy.
