some objects don't reflect light: they are black

Hi, I had my valve games running fine before, then I reinstalled windows, and reinstalled my copy of the Orange Box. Now, some objects are completely black, unless I shoot a non-silenced gun next to them or shine the flashlight on them. Is this a problem with the installation? Should I reinstall the Orange Box? Or is there some easy fix?

Hmm, when you mean do not reflect light... do you mean this? (Yes I think I have a similar Issue =.=

I can't even get passed the "dark" stage of Chapter 3: Lowlife

NOTE: The flashlight gets divided... If you didnt notice... :dozey:
