Source games stuck at 99%

In the "My Games" window, the status of Half-Life 2, Day of Defeat: Source and Half-Life 2: Deathmatch stays at "updating: 99%" (Counterstrike: Source at 98%), but it's been for a few days now and it's still like that.

Obviously I can't play any HL2 mods neither.

I tried deleting the clientregistry.blob, and searched at the Steampowered support page, but found nothing for my problem.

If deleting clientregistry.blob did not help, try pausing the update and resuming it after a few minutes.

Reinstall steam

Don't - delete clientregistry.blob PLUS platfrom.gcf in \SteamApps subfolder of Steam... if that doesn't help... reinstal Steam

I tried pausing the update and resuming it.

I cheched if my internet connection setup is the same in Steam Options.

I deleted the clientregistry.blob and the platfrom.gcf.

I reinstalled Steam, twice now.

I'm getting frustrated.

Try verifying the cache files. Maybe some part of the files are corrupted, causing Steam to get confused.
