Source SDK not working!!! Help please.

I have installed the SDK on another computer and when I try to run it, it says Preparing to play Source SDK.... Then 5 seconds later a message pops up saying:

Mountfilesystem( 221 ) failed: SteamMountFilesystem(6108,221,0x7c2fbfc=,0x7c2fs0c) failed with error 106: Failed to resize the cache file

I've tried restarting, re-installing, and validating. But it wont work.. Please help, thanks.

Btw, I just want to run hammer, is there a way to do it without using the sdk?

first run the game you want to edit IE CSS or HL2 and join a server. then exit the game. also, upon launching sdk make sure
the 'current game' is set to the game you want to edit for. ive had that error too.

yeah I had to atleast start a new game in hl2 or css before I could use the editor

Oh. And antother thing in can't get it to work. AT ALL! It keeps coming up with that error 106 (damn that error 106)
like the other guy said ive tried to reinstall it, launch games then launch SDK, i don't get it!!!!
