Spiderman 2

WARNING! Do not buy this game, it's the biggest pile of crap i've ever had the misfortune to install. Completed it in about 2 hours, getting a rating of excellent on almost every 'mission'. It's way too easy and way too short.

I guess that's what i get for playing a game that i thought would be as open as GTA.
It's totally linear, following the film's plot (with extra enemies etc.).

I feel it an insult to epic etc. who's engine was used to create this abomination.

You can only swing from pre-set points, and the way you 'grapple' *in a straight line* onto buildings is laughable (think HL1 gappling hooks). I mean they could at least take gravity into account.

In summary, do not buy this game!

I thought it was quite a good game..you played the PC version which is supposed to be really crap compared to the console version. Its totally different. I played the console version which was good.

One example is that IGN gave the PC version of Spiderman 2 a score of 4.5 and they gave the Gamecube version a score of 8.8. Totally different.

The PC version of Spiderman 2 is a completely different game than what was released on the consoles. By "completely different" I mean a different developer made the game than the console version.

Yeah. The console version is an order of magnitude better. Very misleading how the box design is exactly the same as the console versions though. I really don't have a clue why they put such a crappy version out on the PC when the console ones are so good.

The console version was actually quite fun. The draw distance was massive.

i have the ps2 version and its pretty fun
espicially throwing villans off of buildings
or making them run off

the console version pwna i got like 30 hours of play out of it and i'm still only 57% done!!

the console version sucked.. but the PC game really licked camel ass
