I just like people grasping at straws to try and complain about the legitimately ****ing awesome cross-sabers, which actually make a load of sense if you take more than .2 seconds to think about it.

Not to mention Jedi and Sith are supposed to be absolutely near-perfectly skilled and in-tune with their weapons, which explains why nobody ever injures themselves. I imagine it has settings for whether or not the cross-blades are actually active or not.

It would help a load with being active during the typical "dramatic" lightsaber locks present in a bunch of the series' fights, since you could defend your own wrists/arms from being spliced by the opponent twisting the blades, and it would also allow you to be more aggressive by butting the handle into an enemy's face, slicing the chest or throat pretty easily.
