starting off with the same crowbar from hl1 and 2?

could it be possible for,in hl2:aftermath to start off with the same crowbar you had from blackmesa,and the same one barney took from the facility and gave to you in hl2?the crowbar from both half life games is the traditional weapon!gordon could have simply lost his weapons and they couldve been transported to a combine confiscation room?could there be any way to obtain your crowbar from hl1 and 2 somtime during the aftermath?

It is possible, but people have long, long pointless arguements over it when they have nothing better to do. And did Adrian Shepherd start off with a crowbar? (Seriously, I can't remember).

Yes, the crowbar is a half-life "tradition", but Barney didn't actually give you the crowbar you used in black mesa, it was a little joke by him.

The crowbar was dematrialized as all other weapons (except gravity gun of course)you carried into The Citadel. There wouldn't be a logical reason to have or get the crowbar as first weapon this time. According to the trailer it seems like the gravity gun will be your start-off weapon

Getting the crowbar in HL2 was a smart trick to get all HL1 lovers to start off in the right direction, as the crowbar was the first weapon in that game. That was a good way connecting the sequel with HL1, and all fans must love that particular sequence!
