Stealth Kills?

Can you perform stealth kills in Oblivion? I don't mean when you sneak up and do critical damage, I mean when you sneak up and kill instantly. Can you?

if your stealth is high enough i think you can instant kill

You do 3x damage with bows when sneaking, and 6x with 1-handed blades. If they're weak enough and you're powerful enough, you can kill them instantly. Right now I can take out some enemies before they can react by doing a stealth-attack, power-attack foward, power-attack sideways. If I used my enchaned sword . . . they don't know what hit them.

Aww... That kinda sucks, you should be able to... like.. slit their throat or something like that...

BTW, do pickpockets acually steal from you like Bethesda said they would?
Also, do belts show up on your character when you equip the belt? (If there are belts)

I haven't noticed anyone pick pocket me but I haven't played that long really. As far as I know there are no belts.

You can poison an arrow or dagger which will kill most weak monsters and some humans straight away. Other than that, there isn't a "stealth kill" as such.

NPC's don't steal from you. If you're using a sword, the belt shows up on your waist.
