Steam and Street release

I notice they say "street" retail.

Im wondering if those who have purchased over steam get it a little sooner? :naughty:

Calm down! The reason why is that if it's released in steam first, then HL2 can be pirated before it hits streets. VU and Valve will lose a lot money if that happened.

Just look at what happened to Doom 3......
