Do you need to make a new profile after the beta has finished?

I'm getting a lot of problems on my end and it's really slow on the community tab but I expect that's cos lots of people are installing the new version.

it's going very slowly for me as well, I expect all the webservers are getting nailed with all the people trying to use it now.
