Theres a new tab for Steam, My Media. Interesting, it'll sure help with my downloads, I wont have to download movies again and again.

Also theres release dates for both Shadowgrounds and Sin Episode 1.

Restart your Steams everyone!

Thats cute. I got a (edit) demo and HL DM:S!!!

Probably because of the server load. I expect that it'll either get better on Valve's end, or they'll release another update.

They also said there will be part 2 of the Episode 1 pre-load next week! :rolling: And finally they added the option under the connection tab for cable internet. And btw I like that sweet fade effect they put in when viewing a video.

I liked that more than the video.

Yes there is also issue with the Store opening up when Steam is started, the option for opening Steam up under "Games" window isn't there(its a bug) also 3rd party mod icons are borked aswell. Just giving everyone a heads up.

Ooh thats very nice, now once the Store actually responds I can DL something. :/

when i click "browse media" nothing pops up *EDIT* okay it works now..but it doesnt respond when i click on something XD

The Store server seems to be on the brink of overloading/crashing right now, VALVe needs to release their first ever Saturday update :p

what do u think it takes for steam to recognize video files and be able to run em through steam, i put a couple other video games trailers in the new media folder in steam and they didnt pop up on the list. anyone have an idea?

The media has gcf's they download first then extract, so Steam probably only sees the gcf media files.

Although it looks fancy the steam media player is nothing more than WMP in a window, if you watch the movie in windowed mode it's just a Windows media player.

That Zombie movie was GREAT! lol. Media tab is really cool, plus the Fade effect is a nice little feature.

I really liked the Zombie movie, it sorta reminded me of Shaun of the Dead. "you can eat me" LOLOL.

I think the only good zombie film I have seen was Resident Evil: Apocalypse. This comes in second.
