U must install steam...(30 mins later)

Now u have to stare at 30 adds on BUY HL2 BUY HL2 BUT HL2.... (i just feckign braught it stop spammign me with buy the game).

Wait 50 mins wile steam updates u with all sots of crap instead of just letting u play the game nad gave fun.......

Load game.... me nice valve logo..... mmmm nice copy right logo.... mmm nice desktop :angry: .

Jesus ffs steam is the biggest game spoiler ever this is the only game im thinking of getting a pirate version cus of the shit i have to go through to get into the game. I hear u can download it from soem places and steam has been remeoved so its less ****ign aobut grrrr this game pisses me off valve fix it, get all computers working with the game and put steam in a bag and throw in the river.

lol i had a similar problem which anoyed me

logged onto steam loaded up hl2 and played for a few hours, the game crashed to desktop once (only ever once aswell) i loaded steam back up but it wouldnt log me in, kept asking for my password but my password is always saved!!! so i couldnt log into steam and i couldnt play hl2 in offline becuase it wanted my password. That really sux and is a good example of why steam shouldnt be needed to play the game as effectivley steam dies all the time and when it dies you cant play hl2. hope valve lernt lessons from all these problems people are having or have had
