Strange Alyx & Messed Up Turrets

While revisiting Half-Life 2, playing through Nova Prospekt, just after the second 'king of the hill' waiting for Alyx while holding off tens of twenties of Combine while she took her sweet time, right after the battle was done and i saw her, i wasted no time in charging down the stairs to continue on. After another battle, without Alyx helping which i did not notice until afterwards when she was no where to be found, i went back and found Alyx standing on the stairs, looking up at the ceiling and smiling.

She proceeded to continue doing that, paying me no mind, as if there was something funny on the ceiling and she refused to leave the little joke. Naturally, i thought i may have not triggered something, so i went back to where said 'king of the hill' was, only to find that all four turrets (i brought an extra) were attempting to shoot me. I probably just have to load it up again, since i doubt it'll continue happening, but i just found this strange.

Yeah, try reloading your save game from previous. Next time listen to Alyx, don't charge,

Nah i got my download from steam, originally i had only done so because i was hoping to get the skins for walls + stuff for some downloaded Portal maps, but i thought that since i was getting the game i might as well check it out, and thats how i became a fan of HL2.
