strange file-info

sorry if this has been posted before, but i searched and didn't find anything.and also if this is the wrong forum to post in,i apologize.

but when i was looking around in my computer today, i found this little thing.don't know if it is anything special or anything, but thought i might show you it!

it is a .sav from cm0102 and it is not only this .sav that is like that.do steam use .sav files?i havent seen any.any thoughts?

no i played a game called championship manager, and that is a soccer game. and that is a save-file from that game.the file itself has nothing to do with steam or hl at all, and the file itself is not important.i'm only wondering why it says valve.source underneath the filename,and if steam uses .sav files to anything.and no, i have not changed it at all!

hmm... maybe if you find out exactly when it was created / modified, and search all the files on you computer that were created / modified at the same time.. you might find a clue

hmm ok i think i found it out.the quick-saves you make in hl,opforce and blue shift are saved in .sav files.so atleast i have found a connection between hl and these files.so they probably put in that valve.source thing to prepare for the release of hl2 or something.sorry for the trouble!

if it was anything related to the Source Engine i'd be in a VALVe or STEAM folder. its probly nothing, or your just f*ckin around with the file type.

I think this is retarded....Steam doesn't hide shit all over your computer and that path of the directory is only one folder. SO It's either fake or friggen retarded.
