I was just playing Half-Life 2 in the SandTraps episode and I accidentally went off the cliff with the buggy and got this message. I have fell off the cliff before on HWY 17 but this is the first time I have seen this. Has anybody else?

It's what you're supposed to get when you go off a cliff in Highway 17 and such.

I got a weird error message too!

When I completed Half-Life 2, a list of people's names started rolling down the screen. Somebody please help. :)

... as long as we are on the subject of "noob haters", what's with that? I've been playing online games for a great many years now and I'll never understand the animosity towards newbies. Is it because some of them don't play by the "rules", i.e., they are prone to picking the most "unfair" weapon and using it at will? Is it because many of the online "senior" gamers are still mentally in the locker room at the high school gym? Is it because newbies ask what a seasoned veteran would consider to be a stupid question? I'm baffled by this hatred towards newbies. Administrator, this topic probably belongs in a different section of this forum. My apologies for bringing it up here, but the subject surfaced and I had to ask. I personally like newbies because they either a) will ask and allow you to teach them how to succeed or b) will choose the most unbalanced weapon and go crazy - my favorite kind of cannon fodder.

The only reason I ask this is because when I die either fall get killed just a black screen comes up or the screen turns red. Just wondering if maybe I turned off something in setting screen.

Nope, there are several death messages.

Newbies and Noobs are very different.

newbie is somone new to a game
noob is someone stupid thats new to a game

thats my definition anyway. Also, its not always that veterans hate noobs, its just fun to make fun of noobs
