Heres a video me and my team mates made for the 7th installment of a local video contest called Streets of Madness. Basically, everybody meets once a year at Kakaako Waterfront Park at 8am to sign papers and everything, then the teams break off and are given 36 hours to film and edit a video. At 8am the following day, everybody meets at hooters to watch the videos, and prizes are awarded for categories such as best trick, best police encounter, best crash, etc etc.
This year me and the homies had kind of a rough time. One of the guys wrecked his hand pretty bad 2 days before the comp, I deserted them on the second day, after breaking my wrist pretty early on in day 1 (0:48), somebody got a flat tire, somebody else ditched after only 1hour of filming to meet up with his girlfriend, and the rest of the time was spent hiding from the rain as there was a flash flood watch during the 1.5 day filming period. To top things off, after trecking 3+ miles on bicycle through the rain with a broken wrist, me and one of the guys managed to lock ourselves out of my car, with the bikes inside! Needless to say, our luck could have been better.
Judging from the video description, I don't think they thought we did so well, but I thought the video still came out sick! So give it a watch, and maybe even a like! Im trying to get this as many views as possible to hpefully brighten somebodies spirits.
