stuck at beginning

Am I too old for action?

Just the beginning of Chapter 1, at the corner of the steep. After turn left, seems I can't go further. There was a ladder a little far from me on the right, am I supposed to jump there? Tried at least 10 times and failed.

Screenshot always helps.

There are no ladders early in the game that I can remember. If you are just at the beginning of the game with the large cliff, just look down and you'll see an outcrop.

Yes. I'm on the cliff. I can't move forward after I come to the left turn. duck and walk won't help either.

Hmmm, just keep following that path. Duck underneath the obstacles and jump across the gaps. Nothing hard to it.

The level didn't load correctly for you. There's supposed to be a car there right in front of you, but it's invisible. I can see a purple checkerboard in the screen, which means you should validate your cache files and restart the game. Open steam and right click on episode one and select properties. Clck on the Local Files tab and select "Verify integrity of game cache".
