Stuck at Tank

Hi Friends,

I am stuck a point in HalfLife2, hope you people can help me out.
I am stuck at collecting the troops, while bringing the last one
a Tank is firing at me and I am not getting how to get rid of it?

I tried in many different ways but of no use , please answer my question

anyway, u have to use the rockets to get rid of that combine tank rite?

Safest method to do this is to go behind the big dumpster, near the rocket chest. Crouch behind the dumpster and just peek out from the right side. Fire a shot,guide it to the APC(tank),hide again. Wash, rinse, repeat. The trick is to keep crouching. The APC cannot hit you in that position. And also you can reload your rockets from the same position.

Or if you're good, you can throw barrels at the thing.

Or SMG grenades.

Or normal grenades.

Basically anything that explodes, but rockets are the safest.

Man, you sure showed him. In Exit 17, while herding the citizens, the APC rolls up. Bulletbrain has got the right idea, just rocket spam and don't get hit.

Am I the only one whose remained of those heavy vehicles in HL1, and the nasty battles we had with them?

I know Valve likes to reuse stuff, like the Desert Cliff Pipes and Nova Prospekt Pipes.

And the noises when charging suits or replenishing health.
