stuck in beginning

Its a bit embarassing but I have got through the window and through the door and out the building into something which I think is a plaza. I believe I should wait here for some guy. I cant get further. Plz help.

move towards the end of the lane, towards the armored car and the 3 metro police. if you look right, there are a couple of boxes, a ladder, and a little blue crate. you can either pile up the stuff to make a small staircase, or you can jump onto the box, then onto the ladder, and jump down on the other side of the fence

You don't wait for somebody. Go to where you will see a combine APC, nearby there should be an alleyway climb up the ladder to get over the other side of the fence

The turnstyle is the most difficult part of the game , Dan.... Personally I was really relieved when I got past it, it took me half the day to figure out how the mechanism worked...And even then it took lots of coordination and good dives to get through, hell I was on the verge of using no clip!
