Stuck in canal route

Please help me get ahead of this silly level i am in kanal route right when you jump in inside a big grate with water under it and there is another passage on the other side with a similar thing(big pipes and water ) the only way I can get out of here is to jump in the tunnel with a red light above the water level but I am unable to make that jump even with the barrels.
I'd love to continue but I am stuck here for more than a month

Its a bit vague, but I think you need to find a tap. You'll find an area where you can drop down these pipes and turn a tap. That will flood the area, then you go back to the other area where there were heaps on manhacks, go down the ladder and you should be able to get in the pipe.

Yeah, if you're where I think you are, then you have to go into the other room, find a valve, turn it, and the room will flood. You should then be able to swim into the big pipe.

You drop into this room where theres tons of manhacks. Blow the b*g***s to shreds with your newly acquired SMG. Go to the other room by climbing up the ladder and across the pipe. Through a subway. Now if you go to the ladder and climb down the bottom swim to the far right corner of the room turn round and you will see a red valve thing (s*** wonder where Ive seen one of them before). Whilst you are down there smash the floating crates to get health boosts. You can't get to it by jumping out of the water. So go back up to the top and drop down bit by bit to the valve and press E. Keep your wits about you as the water rises fast. Climb up the ladder go back to the other room, Crowbar or SMG or pistol even and give the three manhack something to aim for. Kill them, then climb down the ladder in the middle of the floor swim like mad and you get to a new room.

Thanks lads for the inspiration. I had actually managed to flood the place and rid myself of all my SMG bullets on the three manhacks before I took ages to work it out.
