stuck in citadel at green forcefield (spoil)

stuck in our benefactors at green forcefield (spoil)

im at teh place where you can get the energy balls, i just went up a glass elevator and am behind a green forcefield. how do i get out? cant go down or up elevator, cant get forcefeild to go down.. can grab balls and shoot them but its not doing anything.

edit: oops i meant area is our benefactors, not citadel..

On the left hand side after the force field is the column where the energy balls go up. Shoot THAT, not the force field. Think you have to shoot it a few times or something. You'll figure it out if you give it a go. If not, or if I am talking about the wrong place post some screen shots.

Well, first off, are you at the top? Secondly, there should be another generator with a ball in it that lets you take down the forcefield right at the top.

nevermind i replayed from the last load point and somethign changed. i think the game bugged out there because there was no way out of there if you dont go in the room the right way.. i went up the elevator and pulled the energy ball out of the little shaft on the left and it worked that time.. thx
