stuck in city 17?

I think this is city 17.

The part where you exit the buggy go under the bridge.
I unplugged the cord in the control room and pushed the button.

I made it all the way across but the forcefield is still there on top of the bridge. What did I miss?

I don't think you need to pull any cords..just push the button. When done correctly a gunship will be heard and you will have to take it down when you are fighting your way back across the bridge.

Go back to the room with the cord. There is an computer terminal on the opposite wall. At the left corner of the terminal theres the button th deactivate the big bridge force field.

I know you cant even see it clearly like in HL1 ... just keep pressing "use".
