It's funny when you find out there was a much easier way to do something in HL2, for example at the very start when you have to let the mini-bridge thing down, my friend occupied himself by ripping off one of the planks with the gravity gun and laying it so you could climb up the other side. I was like, dude, just smash off all the planks, and he was like, oh, ok.
