Stuck in Entanglement

I seem to be stuck (again). After alex starts comm. with me via radio headset, and I dropped out of that vent shaft. A few rooms away theres this room with what looks like 2 generators and then a while further a room with a force field with a power line leading to an outlet nearby in a office/room. I tried to pull this plug but I can not. How do I disable this force field, or is there another way out. In the room with the grate which I dropped out of, there is also a double door with unbreakable glass surrounding it and I can see a supply crate on the other side of it... but I can not open the door.

Already did. Bullet won't go through the glass

you have to use the grav gun to knock it off or hit something with it.

Yeah try throwing a grenade, if it doesnot eork then you are probably looking in the wrong place.

Just for future reference, there will be a time when you have to shoot the plug, this much I can remember.

No probs. I forget to use grenades a lot (too busy playing with the gravity gun) and I normally love using grenades.
Dat gravity gun sure does change the way you first think about doing things.
