Stuck in Nova Prospekt after Breen's Speech

In Nova Prospect, after flipping the switch to open the gate in the office where the Dr. Breen is chiding the guards, the gates won't open. The green lights are on, but nothing happens. Help?

Because half the people asking what's wrong with the game that's what's happened - did you try what wpjiscool mentioned?

I may have had this glitch in the game at one point as well (and yes I do own it legally). If verifying the game cache doesn't work, try reloading into an earlier area and try it again.

Yes, try going back a bit - it could be because of a corrupt save file.

For example if you wanted d1_town_01, you would type "map d1_town_01", with cheats enabled.

Yes, try going back a bit - it could be because of a corrupt save file.

This could be the case as well - I believe there is an autosave that triggers when you hit the button; I had the gate not open on me a couple times because the autosave triggered, but not the gate for some weird reason.

Hmm, where did you get that list from? I have no levels called 'under' or 'tempanals'. Even the order and quantity for each is out of place. Are they just named differently in specific countries or something?

That is rarely a great idea, it may cause some triggered events not to trigger.
