Hey there!

I'm an amateur starting to play the game. :E And what do you know, I got stuck at the very start!

I was walking on the roof of a buiding, I entered a room through a window. In this room there where some stairs. When I tried to walk on them, they collapsed. After them, there are some doors on left and right, but I can't enter them.

I attached a print screen. I hope you can see it and understand it. :E

No really. If nothing happens, somethings wrong with the AI, which at this stage may well be the direct result of you pirating the game in which case, the members of this forum can fill in the missing sequence by coming round to your house and beating you to near death.

Still, questions like this shouldn't be discouraged because they get new people to sign up who'll hopefully take part in the community and keep it going. And most walkthroughs wouldn't cover such an elementary problem ^^

Just keep poking around. It doesn't get easier either. I've found the guys here are very forthcoming when you need help. Keep at it.

well, the solution of "just wait until something happens" seems to simple that I think it's more likely an AI failure, so it's far more of a valid question that way. Though the idea that it's 8 months on and not fixed leads me to believe this is the work of the warez devil...

We've had people asking about how to save the game, you won't believe the things I've seen.

Now to help you : If the game doesn't go on from there, try to replay the chapter. Sometimes the AI (Artificial Intelligence) of the computer doesn't go to well and you are stuck in the game.

Yeah, restart that section. You're supposed to get trapped there and beaten up by Combine guys then rescued. Sorry for the spoiler but it's the only way you'll know you've got it to work properly.
