Stuck in Xbox version

Okay I am stuck on a control room by myself, doors locked me in, trying to destroy the last generator. The room had four turrets and destroyed them but I cannot open the door. All I have left after destroying the guns is the crow bar and the gravity gun. Any input would be appreciated.

Is this in the nexus bit? Can you describe it in greater detail?

And how did you use anything other than grenades to destroy turrets?

I'm in a room in a house where I have to destroy three generators with teh gravity gun. I am on the third one. You go into a room and when you pass the red lasers the turrets activate and the metal doors lock. I detroyed three turrets with shotgun and machine gun and then I stood under the two other turrets (they can't hit you) and destroyed them with the crow bar.

So pretty much I have figured out that i should have avoided the laser beams and shut the turrets off rather than destroy them. So now that I have detroyed them I am screwed. How do I restart the map if I have saved the game. Do I have to restart The whole game?

im not sure how the xbox version works but it would be nice if you could tell us what chapter you are describing up there.
without knowing which chapter...people here would be guessing at best.

I believe he's in the laser-beam turret room in the nexus building.

I haven't played the Xbox version, but in the PC version you can select a chapter by going to New Game. Sooo if you did that you wouldn't have to restart the whole game but you would have to replay the chapter...

Huh. I didn't realise that could happen! I destroyed some of the turrets, but not all of the, which probably saved my ass...
