Stuck - manhack/barrel room, water valve in other

Took out all those annoying buzzing things (manhacks, right?) - jumped across the pipes into the next room, turned the valve and it filled up high w/ water - but how do I get across the grate to the other side?

All right. After you turn on the valve, go back to the first room and go down that ladder. Then there will be like a LARGE sewage pipe. Go through there and it will lead you to the other side of the grate.

then you have to swim to the bottom and chop the wood boards with your crowbar and release the boxes so you can jump across them.

lol, thats not closw how i got acrros, i somehow climed on the pipes and moved forward without doing anything else
