Stuck On Buggy Level

I just shot down the gun ship. I went back to the baisment and he tells me thank you and that hell have someone open the gate so i can keep going. Nobody opens it so im stuck. Is it a glitch or do i need to do somthing else first?

get in the buggy and drive upto the gate the dude on the right hand side up agenst the wall will open it for you

is this the part where you have to find 2 batteries? I think it is. there are 3 car batteries (2 are hidden nearby) that need put in place inside a shack nearby

I GOT IT...There was a crate on the back side of the doors. Used grav gun to get it out now doors stay open!! YEAHHHHh

I am in the same position as you were. I have cleared the milk crate from behind the gate but still no one is by the keypad on the wall of the house. The colonel downstairs has advised me that someone will open the gate for me but the nearest guy is a red cross guy leaning against the wall not responding to me. I fear that I have hit a bug in the game and I need to go back to an earlier save point. Unfortunately the previous save point was waaaay back in the game. Any tips?
