stuck on sandtrap

its just after i get the bug bait. killed a bunch of gaurds in some bunkers, and im in a cove with the sea on my right. ahead and to the left there are tall cliffs with bunkers and machine guns. i cant find anywhere to go, and the machine gunners cut me apart if i try to cross the cove

You have to head up to where the machine gunners are, use antlions to take there fire. I think there's a door up there somewhere.

Yeah, use the antlions to distract them. About halfway down there should be somthing that looks like a river or road, follow it up the hill.

thought of that, trouble is i cant see how to get there. i've looked all around, its all sheer cliffs

ah ive found it. id gone too far, and missed the door. and somehow a whole bunker with 4 gaurds! sloppy!
