Stuck...

Hey i just started playing HL2 and when you go into the open room with tons of flamable barrels, and all the manhacks come at you so you blow up all the barrels. I've done all that, so basically what do i do next? i don't know where to go, please help...

As far as I can remember there should be a door to another place filled with all these pipes. There should be a tap on one of pipes. Turn it, that should flood the room, then go back to the manhack room and go down a ladder. The water should boost you high enough to go into a pipe. I haven't played the game for a while so I don't know how exact that is.

Yea your talking about the right room but i dunno where the lever is...

You need to climb down the pipework in the room next door. About a quarter of the way up from water level there's the ubiquitous big red valve which fills the room with water. That'll also fill up the tank under the floor in the first room enabling you to swim through the pipe.
