Hey I've finally had a chance to sit down and play with the tools in depth but I'm suffering from some HL1 habits,,,


so can anyone confirm that HL2 no longer subdivides geometry every time a texture repeats?

I think it creates BSP splits every 1024 grid units. I'm guessing this is so the lightmap doesn't go too low res.
 
For those who didn't understand, yes it does subdivide geometry when the texture repeats :) Unless Raeven0 stuck 8 brushes together :)
 
guess I'll have to test to see whether it's bound to the subdivide limit or texture repeat,,, I'll post the results when I get a chance
