Nope. It was a fanbased project just to get you hyped up about HL2 that some people did. It's a sidescrolling adventure game or a platform game some people call it...I think it's based off of flash or something.

Valve apparently thought it was a cool idea so they put it on steam.

It is a fan made 2D sidescroller based on Half-Life 2. It had impressive visuals (Very nice pixel art) but it had one major flaw... Unless you had a great processor (Atleast 2.4 or so) you would lag up the butt. And this wasn't just any lag, this was Press-Left-and-then-8-seconds-later-the-guy-moves lag. All because the foolish creators wanted to put it on the Flash engine, which SUCKS for games. HUNDREDS of people offered to help code it onto C++, and it would have ran on computers down to an 800 MHZ CPU.

It was overhyped. Your computer can run it, so if I were you I would give it a try.
