Where is the Hydra in the game? I've beaten the game once and I don't rememeber seeing the Hydra.

There are minor levels missing too. If we take the E3 video, the dock scene - thats gone. It doesn't matter to me, but seriously - they took out the hydra? why?

Excellent Game, even if they took out one of the coolest looking monsters.

Hydra were removed, if you search you will find many topics about it. I think it came down to them being too good and no fun to fight, a bit like the tenticles from HL1 but with the ability to see you.

ill answer this again....search the forums dude, answered too many times.

1. the Hydra was removed from the game
2. Valve changed alot of things including the locations which didnt fit the story. Some of those levels were just created for the purposes of the E3 presentations. Games chop and change through production...
