Terminator Multiplayer Mod

Hey guys, I'm DT from Star Wars : The New Era Mod for HL2 OB. I'm the Lead Animator & one of the 3D Artists.

I've been disappointed with the lack of good terminator games within the last decade, so I have this idea for a terminator multiplayer mod. Basically a skynet vs resistance deathmatch, etc. I have started creation of a T-800 endo, and i also have a team mate, Toshi from (Star Wars : TNE) who is the Lead 3D Artist and zbrusher and has started work on a tech-com Kyle Reese model.

Is anyone else who can help out, interested in this idea?
 
We're still looking for more members. We currently have:

2 Level Designers
2 Modellers, 1 Zbrusher
1 Animator

We desperately need a coder. I have managed to secure code from an OB mod (upon its release) for us to use as a base. Any coders that join us won't need to start from scratch.

We also would like more:

Level Designers
Modellers
Animators - that can work with rigs in 3DS Max. We don't use XSI to animate.

The only way i'd get shutdown is if they're going to make a multiplayer part to the T4 game.

A Halo Strategy mod was shutdown because Halo Wars was being made, so unless that's the type of case here i highly doubt i'd be shutdown for a free mod.

You're so very wrong. It's got nothing to do with whether or not they're already doing something similar, it's about protecting intellectual property. Sometimes, they let things slide. Other times, they don't. Why do you think that you don't see any mods based on Aliens...

Made by me. Just a base head texture, no body texture. Rendered in 3ds Max.

The endo is now in-game with ragdoll physics, but is still not fully textured. The different colors you see are UVW maps generated by texporter for easy texturing:

Toshi decided a while ago to start with making Kyle, then go on to making a generic soldier.

It's not much, but it's a start. Tony has been working on a hollywood post-apocalypse map. No pics yet. :)

Critiques are meant to help you improve your model, and therefore should ONLY be given before a work is finished. What the **** use would they be if its done and you wont change it anyways? DEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP
 
as far as unskinned renders go those aren't bad, it's a pity you don't apply your skill to something more original though
 
Also, that Terminator model looks really high poly for a game on the source engine. You might have trouble with your frame rate once you get them textured and in game with several people being them at once.


EDIT: Shit, I just gave a critique. Sorry man. Just keep it up! I'm sure you wont ever run into any problems that could have been avoided by getting critiques before finishing the models!
