Testing DM map without making a server.

I just jumped into HL2-DM to test a really simple map I made (a room with some walls and some glass). After that, about 6 other guys joined my game! It was obviosly a bit dissapointing for them but still suprisingly fun.

Anyways, how do I start my maps without creating a server? If i just load them into hl2 then I am unable to run and jump the same.

or password protect it.
