When I'm editing a texture on a brush in Hammer, sometimes the texture alignment will get stuck on both "world" and "face" alignment. With no way to uncheck either of them.

What causes this?

Also, the little graphical icons that represent entities in the 3D view are all blurry. Is there a way to fix that?

Thanks ;)

if you're only editing one texture face, and it's aligned with both the world and the brush face, then both will be checked

as for your blurry entities - do you have AA on?

Well, in my video card settings, I've got AA set to "let the app decide". There is no "Off" option. I don't suppose there's a setting for anti-aliasing in Hammer is there?

The only things that have changed since it last looked fine were the last 1 or 2 updates Valve did to Hammer, and I installed some newer video card drivers.

They're blurry on poor video cards now--they all need to be recompiled with the "nolod" option. But you can't do that. For some reason.

My video card isn't that bad. I've got an ATI Radeon 9800XT with 256 ram. I'd hate to see what kind of card it takes just to run those icons properly.

It's not a huge deal, it's just annoying. (they all look like that)
