Textures messed up...

Same when I was trying lostcoast, but only if I turned HDR off...

Yeah, after one of those CS updates, all the textures have gotten very shiny. Check Office, its much much more shiny now and I ain't liking it all that much.

I have the same thing in HL2 :O

One way to get rid of it is to use:
mat_specular 0

Well, yeah, turning off specular lighting is the way to get rid of ALL reflections

I think it looks fine without them. definnatly alot better if you were like me and had shiny reflections
