I've just finished the game! I'd like to say THANK YOU to everyone here who helped me get through the game, because if it was not for you people i'd still be stuck somewhere at the beginning

I thought some more action was going to happen at the end, but it didn't nevermind, i cant wait for a Half Life 3. Half Life/Half Life 2 are the best games i've ever played. I'm just sad that it's finished, because i want to keep on playing HALF LIFE!

This is the first game i've ever actually COMPLETED!

You got that right, im tryin that at the moment! Manhacks suddenly become something to be very afraid of at the beginning.

It's not that difficult when you replay it on hard since you know what's coming

I should have known to play it on hard from the beginning, I'm an HL1 veteran and have completed that many times on hard. Oh well, it was still the best game I have ever played. And now I'm playing through again on Hard, which is just as sweet. The Combine AI is really sharp, meaning they are actually even more incredible to fight. They are a force to be reckoned with on hard mode.

General opinion seems to be against the ending. I liked it. Opinions?

The ending made me sad cos I wanted to keep playing, and it made me wish I hadn't played it constantly as soon as I got it and completed it in 2 days but instead taken breaks and spent at least a week on it.
But yeh that ending will pretty much ensure that everyone who completed half-life 2 will buy half-life 3, valve certainly know what they are doing there!
