1: What about the mini-me's in CS:S with the new T's? They were there for a week.
2: It never hurts to get extra time in and extra money in your paycheck for overtime. Plus Gabe said he can call up the internet provider and say "I need more bandwith". Updates don't have to come out on one day of the week all the time. Havana had the weekly news and the actuall map hours later.

1: I'm not talking about annoyances, i'm talking about crash bugs.

2: Yes at a very expensive cost for a free update.

I would hope that im wrong and we get it tommorow

Map shouldn't be over 50mb, the whole update for Lost Coast might only be 50-100mb. They don't have to warn for that, Steam can handle downloads that size.

They did say last week that there was going to be a secret project revealed in the next news update. Hopefully the news will come out tonight. It might be Team Fortress 2. Or it could have some info on Lost Coast. Check if there is news tonight at 9:00PM EST. If it doesn't come out today it comes out tommorrow. :naughty:

No Lost Coast for ANYBODY for a while. What on earth makes everybody think it's going to be Friday? If it IS friday, i'll jump for joy and masturbate, but I wouldn't be surprised if it's not till the end of August.

I don't have STEAM installed...but i bet that the "aftermath" teaser trailer is in one of the preloads the last few days. I'd check for myself, but i'm sitting on a 20GB HDD awaiting the return of my mobo.

I'd suggest digging around the HL1 files, or something, seeing how there have been so many updates. to view the gcf's, use gcfscape. there used to be a time when you couldn't post that word...
